SPECTRUM TONIGHT/TOMORROW

afternoon children of the night!

We are filming the two OOZEVOODOO shows this weekend at SPECTRUM to be used as footage for the video for our next single I'M DESPERATE.
Anyone who is there on the night will probably end up cut into the final edit somewhere so make sure you look your worst, get as wasted as possible and stage dive as much as your legs will throw you.

tickets are cheap and going fast and can be found at www.moshtix.com.au/event.aspx?id=34979&ref=moshtix

We are excited to announce our supports for friday night will be:
HAWNAY TROOF (USA)
&
POCKETS

and Saturday we will be joined by the wonderful:
PAPA VS PRETTY
&
CHICKS WHO LOVE GUNS

THERE WILL BE EXTRA SCREEN TIME FOR THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS OUTFITS,
I ALREADY HAVE A HORSE RACING JOCKEY COMING IN FULL JOCKEY COSTUME SO YOU'LL HAVE TO BEAT THAT.

REMEMBER...IF ON ANY OF THESE NIGHTS YOU HAVE A CAMERA JAMMED IN YOUR FACE AND YOU FEEL THE NEED TO DO SOMETHING STRANGE...
MAKE SURE YOU MEAN IT.

I love all of you and your sisters...

SEE YOU TONIGHTAAHHHH!!

BIG DAY OUT TOUR DIARY 2

Bottom of the morning everyone.
Part 2 of the big day out tour diary is live now on

www.youtube.com/thescarethescare
or
http://www.youtube.com/thescarethescare#p/a/u/0/OocxeHfgxUE

it's mostly live footage caught from the melbourne, adelaide and second sydney shows, and of course the usual peek behind the red curtain at what big day out peer pressured us into doing to our minds and bodies.

special hugs and kisses need to go out to everyone who sent us live photos and videos in the last week.
i'm putting most of that content up this afternoon, please be patient, it takes a while.
A good old friend of ours DR. Phil(good) Kennedy sent me about a million photos from our U.K and European adventures including footage of us recording in the prestigious BBC studios, final resting place of the legendary John Peel.
all this and more will be online very soon...

so please stay touching us.

have a really nice week,
much love from all here at THE SCARE asylum.

ADELAIDE

this is what happens when you play adelaide.

HOWDY HO!

Thank you to everyone who came to watch us at the BIG DAY OUT,
it was the best January of my life that i don't remember.

We are appealing to all our fans, friends and enemies worldwide to please send us any photos or videos you have of us from the last 6 months of our touring schedule.
Don't forget that we've toured the country nationally 4 times since last july, with wolf and cub, children collide, then our own headlining OOZEVOODOO tour with jack ladder and cabins in support and then of course with the BIG DAY OUT. So get what you have and chuck it in a yousendit.com file and throw it at me.

And i'm not talking specifically live material, i mean everything.
so if you have any footage of kiss passed out, somebody throwing up, interviews, hang outs, poetry, kissing, touching, laughing, crying, dancing, anything and everything will go to good use.
Please forward anything you have to the_scare@hotmail.com

We are currently putting together a series of tour diary videos for the big day out tour so please watch here and our blog for those masterpieces of debauchery. Wish us luck at the oscars. (THE FIRST TWO WILL GO UP BY THE END OF THE DAY)

Thank you and goodnight.

Wade and THESCARE.

RIP ROWLAND S HOWARD

I would like to goodbye to Rowland S Howard, a true gentleman of music and one of the most talented guitars/lyricists Australia has ever produced.

His release "Pop Crimes" is the best record of 2009 and hopefully it can receive the accolades it deserves in the coming months.

Our whole group was fortunate enough to see him play a few months ago at the Oxford Art Factory, his second last show ever. It was magic.

RIP rowland s howard,
our thoughts go out to yr close friends and family.
